PRAISE AND WORSHIP
I have been to churches where the Q-chord was the
only instrument supporting the singing of the congregation. It sounded
great. The Q-Chord was connected to the PA system and it sounded just as
good as a professional organ. But the best part is that any member of the
congregation can learn to play the Q-Chord in just minutes.
When I used to play guitar for Living Word Church
in Augusta, Georgia, the pastors wife played the Q-chord, and one of the lead
singers kept rhythm with a tambourine. The combination of guitar, Q-chord,
and tambourine was a great trio of instrumental sound. But, the Q-chord is
capable of standing on its own. A single guitar in a small church worship
service, let alone a large church service, can sound a little shallow.
But, the Q-Chord has the fullness of a small orchestra, and it's so easy to
play.
HOME MINISTRY
I belong to a home ministry which is one of many
programs at Cornerstone Church here in San Antonio. Home ministries
usually have 10 to 20 people in them. The problem is that most home
ministries have no guitar players, or keyboard players. But, ANYONE in a
home ministry or Sunday school class can lead their small group in praise and
worship with the greatest of ease. Adding the support of a Q-chord to a
home ministry time of praise and worship will greatly improve everything.
People will return to the home ministry service, and guests will be inclined to
join because of the worshipful atmosphere that the Q-chord helps to generate.
SCHOOL TEACHERS
It's simple - Just place your finger on the CHORD
button and the Q-chord will produce a beautiful harmonious chord.
Then take your other hand and strum the metal strum plate with the soft part of
your thumb, and this will create a cascading beautiful chordal sound of your
choice. You can choose from 100 different instruments such as guitar,
harp, organ, flute, synth.
There are hundreds of songs that teach.
But, most school teachers do not play a musical instrument. However, put a
Q-chord in the hands of any school teacher and within minutes they can be
leading their students in songs that teach American
History, Math, Science,
Grammar, and other topics.
It's fun, and the children will want to learn how to play it. This is the
best instrument in the world for teaching Music
Chord Theory.

FAMILY FUN
The family that sings together sticks
together. Most families do not sing together because there is nothing
drawing them together to participate in music. If someone plays the piano
or the guitar, then it is usually just one member of the family, but with the
Q-Chord, every member of the family can play the Q-chord. Family members
can sit in a circle and pass the Q-chord around from member to member as they
sing their favorite songs with various auto accompaniment Q-chord rhythms, or
using the basic Easy Strum mode, or better yet using the song cartridges that
plug into the Q-chord that automatically generate famous songs by the Beatles,
Elvis, and others. There are all kinds of music cartridges such as Folk,
Pop, Christmas, Gospel, Praise and Worship.
Just picture using the Q-chord on your next
camping trip. You can operate it with batteries that last a long
time. Take it in the car, and the entire family can sing songs to break up
the monotony on long trips. It's portable and comes with an AC
adaptor. There is also a real nice soft shell case that you can use to
carry it with you, and there is a side compartment to put your sheet music
in. The Q-Chord takes up very little space -- about the size of a small
pillow. Guitars and keyboards take up a lot of space. Guitars, and
especially keyboards are heavy, but not the Q-Chord. You can easily store
a Q-chord in your SUV, closet, trailor, or even your school locker.
The Q-Chord is the perfect instrument to
introduce to pre-school children that gives them quick mastery of chord theory
and performance. They too can play in minutes. This prepares them
for difficult instruments such as the piano, guitar, and orchestral instruments.
WRITE YOUR OWN SONGS
A lot of aspiring song writers come up with
really good lyrics, but they have trouble creating the chords and melodies for
their lyrics. But, when you have a Q-Chord, it becomes real easy to
experiment with different chords and to create chord progressions that would
take years of study if you tried to do it with a piano or a guitar. As you
easily create your chord progressions, the beautiful sounds coming from the
Q-chord make it easy for you to create melodies for your songs as you sing the
lyrics of your new songs in progress. Remember, the Q-Chord is a
professional sounding instrument, just like a professional keyboard that costs
thousands of dollars.
OTHER USES OF THE Q-CHORD
Many blind people are learning about the Q-chord
and are now using this professional instrument to bring the joy of music into
their lives. Physically handicapped people who are unable to play
difficult instruments such as pianos, guitars, violins, clarinets, trumpets, and
other instruments are now participating in the joy of musical expression.
People in nursing homes who have arthritis and are unable to play traditional
instruments are now enjoying making music for themselves and others.
Professional music therapists are using the Q-chord in their practice of the
healing arts.
WHAT MY MUSIC STUDENTS WHO HAVE PURCHASED A
Q-CHORD ARE SAYING
Pam B. "I bought this for my father
who loves to sing. But, now, I want one for me and my family. They
are so much fun. I love this instrument!"
Bill D. "John, thanks for teaching me
how to play the Q-chord. I took it to our singing club here in San
Antonio, and now everyone wants to buy one".
Cyndi G. "I played my Q-Chord for my
mother, and now she has ordered one. Everyone wants to get one. I
played it at our home ministry and my brother-in-law played along with the
guitar and it sounded GREAT! Everyone wants to get one."
Clara C. "I told my husband. I
want to buy one right now. I told Clement - get on the phone and order
this right." NOW!"
Pastor Mark S. "John, I played
along with another musician at a meeting, me on guitar, and he was playing one
of these Q-chords. It really sounded great. This is the first time I
have ever had a chance to play one of these things, and it's amazing how easy it
is to play. You know, anybody can play one of these. This is really
going to enhance our worship service."
