This 60 minute DVD - R and Book are designed for the absolute beginner. In this book I take you from the very beginning and I show you on the DVD the names of all the keys on the keyboard. I explain that the first key is called by the letter "A" and once you know that the first key is "A" you can name all the other white keys by following the alphabet. I show you on the DVD the correct fingerings for the first 5 notes starting at middle C. I teach you how to count music and I show you the basic notes in the form of whole notes, half notes, and quarter notes. This book will teach you some very simple songs that you can play and you can watch me show you how to play them on the DVD. This is a 27 page book, that is full of graphics that allow you to visualize how to play the piano. There are easy exercises where you can take a pencil and write the letter name on blank piano keys.
