In this lesson you will learn the names and symbols of BLOCKED
CHORDS or CLOSED CHORDS for C chord. The first midi file is how the chords
sound based upon what you see in the printed music. Now, play these blocked chords together
with both hands. Then arpeggiate these chords up and down with various rhythms
such as
quarter notes, eighth notes, sixteenth notes. Listen to the
MIDI file of
me arpeggiating these blocked chords using various rhythms and patterns. You can do the same,
just make up
your own rhythms, sequences of notes within the chord.
